Reliable. Sustainable. Capable.

STEERING YOUR DESIGN

Steer Design is an Interior Design Consultancy based in Bristol working across the UK and Ireland with a team of expert, qualified designers. We work across most commercial sectors and have experience in many niche industries. Steer Design works directly with clients, multi disciplinary teams, architectural firms and with contractors.

We pride ourselves in offering bespoke packages of services with creative thinking, coordinated design, expert environmental analysis and strategic planning that allows our clients and contractors to get the best solution for the project needs. We delve beyond the meet, plan and draw package to understand how you work and why; we get to understand you, your users and your mission.

Our services include interior design, workplace strategy, environmental analysis, space analysis and space planning, furniture specification and procurement assistance, branding and graphics, CGI & VR animation, on site coordination and contractor support.

STEERING THE WAY

Our mission is to design reliably - giving you confidence; specify sustainably - working towards carbon neutral design and construction; create capably - producing quality, lasting results. We’ve always had a strong ethos of designing sustainably to include materials and performance, social and economic sustainability for a long lasting design. We have signed up to Interior Design Declares in order to join our industry in striving to reach carbon neutral and beyond to carbon negative design.

“Sustainability is not a statement or policy. It is part of our process, our ethos and design. It is as versatile and central as anything else in our design to be as inclusive and accessible as possible.” Mel Meale, Design Director.

Steer Design is made up of a team of freelancers who have long standing working relationships together; we work as though we’re one company but with maximum flexibility, great value for money and above all, a level of trust and confidence that comes from working in this adaptable format. It has made Steer Design robust and able to manage the ebbs and flows of workload as a continuous, strong organisation. In working this way we are progressive in remote working and pull in the best designers from around the UK, not limited by locality.
